In another twist to the ensuing saga at creative media company iCreate, it has been announced that founder and former CEO Tyrone Wilson has been appointed executive chairman.

At the same time, he has returned to his previous post of president and CEO. The appointments took effect on November 26. iCreate has also advised that messrs. Anthony Dunn and Donovan White were appointed directors to the board.

In the case of Dunn, his ascendency to the iCreate board came just as it was announced that a strategic investment group, which he leads, has entered into an Agreement for Sale for 30 per cent equity interest in Visual Vibe.Com, a subsidiary of iCreate.

More changes

This latest turn of events has caused even more eyebrows to be raised about the happenings at iCreate, where a cleaning of the post-Wilson management and board took place. OurToday reported yesterday that with the removal of four directors two weeks ago, iCreate announced more organisational changes.

Arlene Martin

Interim CEO Arlene Martin is now fully out of iCreate having been one of the four directors booted with the return of Wilson, who is apparently cleaning house, having returned to the fold. She has resigned as interim CEO and as director of Visual Vibe.Com.

She is joined by Ivan Carter, who has resigned as director of Visual Vibe.Com and GetPaid Limited. Like Martin, Carter is now fully out at iCreate after being one of the four directors to be booted.

Wilson’s return to iCreate at its annual general meeting two weeks ago at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel was accompanied by the removal of four directors from the company’s board. They include Martin, Allen, Dainya-Joy Wint and Ivan Carter, along with the exit of Crichton Mullings & Associates as the company’s auditors.
