Jamaican franchise to start operations next month

United States-based U-Save Car & Truck Rental is announcing a new affiliate location in Jamaica.

The location is locally owned and operated by Ferone Bryan, founder of Minute Car Rentals, who plans to kick start operations next month. 

The new affiliate is located at 78 ¾ Hagley Park Road, Mystix Plaza Shop #16, Kingston 10.

Commenting on the company’s entry into Jamaica, Jason Brown, U-Save director of business development, remarked: “We are thrilled to welcome Mr Bryan to the U-Save family and look forward to working with his team to create and bring an affordable rental transportation network to Jamaica.”

For his part, Bryan stated: “My excitement levels have not fallen from my first meeting with Jason Brown to the start and process of our implementation phase. I am excited to use our guiding mission to bring U-Save into Jamaica’s top five car rental companies within the next few years. I am delighted to start this journey to continue bringing affordable rental cars with excellent customer service to the Kingston area.”

U-Save Car & Truck Rental is based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, US and has been in business for more than 30 years. The company has locations in the United States and Mexico as well as some countries in the Caribbean and Europe.

In the US, U-Save serves busy rental car hubs like New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport, as well as smaller neighbourhood locations like Milledgeville, Georgia. U-Save locations are franchises.

Its CEO, Tom McDonnell, was a U-Save franchise owner in Jackson, Mississippi before buying the company in 1994.
