Dancehall artiste Popcaan recently revealed that the highly anticipated ‘Unruly Fest’ will return to St Thomas on December 22 this year.
The annual event, usually held at the end of December, was postponed three times, twice because of the COVID-19 pandemic and once unexplained. The last show was in 2019.
The Unruly Boss shared the news of the show’s return in a tweet today (June 16), where he wrote: “Unruly Fest Jamaica Dec 22nd!!”
Excited for its return, fans flooded the comments sections to show their enthusiasm. Many also questioned when the St Thomas native would bring the show that draws thousands of patrons annually to Ghana.

While no date has been set for an event in the African country, Unruly Fest will be heading to London on November 30, 2023.
The first staging of Unruly Fest was in 2018. The sold-out concert saw appearances by Canadian rapper Drake, Tory Lanez, Bounty Killer, Cocoa Tea, Tanya Stephens, Bugle, I Wayne, Agent Sasco, Bush Man, Iba Mahr, Jah Vinci, Quada, Jah Frass, Nesbeth, and Richie Stephens.
