The police have arrested the man who recorded himself issuing a bomb threat at the Rubis Service Station in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Sunday.

Head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Stephanie Lindsay, told Our Today that the 25-year-old man was picked up in Old Harbour, St Catherine today (June 5).

He is now in police custody, and law enforcers intend to charge him with creating public mischief.

According to reports from the JCF, first responders arrived at the gas station on Milford Road in the parish, and made several checks at the location and surrounding businesses.

No bomb was found.
