US actions have serious impact on global health, WHO chief says

The United States’ pause on foreign aid contributions has a serious impact on global health, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on a virtual press conference on Wednesday.

Ghebreyesus urged the U.S. to consider resuming aid funding until solutions can be found.
