WASHINGTON (Reuters)
US President Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday night (March 13), Politico reported, citing Russian state-owned news outlet Izvestia.
It comes hours after Putin said that Russia agreed with US proposals for a ceasefire in Ukraine but that any ceasefire would have to deal with the root causes of the conflict and that many details needed to be sorted out.
