
Aaron Carter, the rapper and brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, has died at age 34.
According to tabloid website TMZ, the singer-turned-rapper and actor was found dead today at his home in Lancaster, California.
In its report on Carter’s death, TMZ said multiple sources had indicated that his body was found in his bathtub.
Carter rose to fame in the late 1990s as a pop singer and released four studio albums, including his self-titled debut album in 1997 when he was just nine years old.
He would later switch to rap music, appeared on Dancing With The Stars and acted in the Broadway production ‘Seussical’.
Throughout his career, the artiste faced numerous legal and substance abuse issues and served several stints in rehab.
