Minister of Transport Daryl Vaz has vowed to remove the bureaucracy that makes certifying vehicle registration and acquiring a certificate of fitness arduous.

Criminals are also exploiting the use of ‘blue plates’ depriving the Government of revenue and he will also be cracking down on that.

All in all these new measures will result in greater efficiencies and a more seamless process than prevailed for decades. The use of digital technology will now be a boon to motorists.
