

Award-winning actress Viola Davis will be playing her most villainous role yet as Dr Volumnia Gaul in The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
Set 64 years before the original, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ tells the story of a young President Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) before he becomes the tyrannical president of Panem.
The story follows Snow as he mentors a poor and impoverished Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) and unexpectedly falls in love with her.

Throughout the film, we are expected to see the transformation of Snow into the wicked politician who eventually torments Katniss Everdeen years later.
Other stars set to be in the film include Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) and Hunter Schaefer (Euphoria) as Casca Highbottom, dean of the Academy and Tigris Snow, cousin of Coriolanus Snow, respectfully.
The film is expected to be released in theatres on November 17, 2023.
