Leah Flynn, an inspiring young African American violinist with Jamaican heritage, has taken another step in her journey to reshape the classical music landscape.

Despite facing discrimination in an industry where few young black violinists have found success, Leah continues to pave the way for future generations with her exceptional talent and perseverance.

Leah recently flew to Dubai on May 4 to attend the prestigious Annual Investment Meeting in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi.

Her performance at the opening gala on May 7 captivated an audience of global financial investors from 175 countries, hosted by the Royal Family at the iconic Emirates Palace.

This event marked a significant milestone in Leah’s career, highlighting her as a rising star in the classical music world on an international stage.

Next on Leah’s agenda was a return to her roots, where she attended and performed at the 10th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference in Montego Bay, from June 16–19.

Leah, who describes classical music as “exciting, emotionally moving, challenging, inspiring, and often breathtaking,” is set to continue her mission of inspiring others through her music.
