Visual Vibe, a subsidiary of the greater ‘iCreate’ brand, has entered into a partnership with Yello Media
Group with the aim of producing dynamic and innovative advertising packages specifically designed for
SMEs (small and medium businesses) in the country.
Yello Media Group is one of the predominant marketing and advertising companies in Jamaica, and the
wider Caribbean.
In an interview with Our Today, Tyrone Wilson, executive chairman of the Visual Vibe Group and CEO of
iCreate emphasised that the union was one of practicality with much potential.
He added that this deal presents a great opportunity for Visual Vibe, which was incorporated into the iCreate group only last year.
Following the acquisition of Visual Vibe, Wilson and his staff have been working to “aggressively expand” its reach, which already has several key strategically placed billboards over the country. These include the Courtyard Marriott in New Kingston and the Chillin’ restaurant and bar on Lady Musgrave Road.

While both Visual Vibe and Yello Media Group have been active in the same communication, marketing, and advertising field, Wilson noted that the partnership achieved was not necessarily between ‘rivals’. He stressed that the two companies share the same overall vision and goals, a statement that would be echoed by Shayne Morris, Product Manager of Yello Media Group.
“Yello Media Group understands the critical role that SMEs play in driving economic growth and development in our country,” Morris noted in a press release.
Additionally, both entities have viewed their newfound alliance as a means to become more all-rounded.
The partnership between Visual Vibe and the Yello Media Group is to be seen “not as the remedying of a weakness,” but rather “the combining of their unique individual strengths.”
Wilson has said that the Yello Media Group’s well-known name and extensive experience would make a wonderful union with creativity, a strong platform, and a capable technical team, among others.
Yello Media’s Product Manager acknowledges that, for some time, the company had received complaints from SME’s struggling to grow their businesses due to the strains on their budget.
However, thanks to this alliance, now Yello Media’s customers will be able to promote their products and services all across major towns and cities on the island, such as Kingston, Mandeville, Spanish Town, Portmore, and Montego Bay.

According to Morris, the partnership will provide “a solution to the marketplace that will empower SMEs and enable them to stand out, connect, and engage with their target audiences more effectively, in order to grow their businesses.”
Visual Vibe will benefit thanks to the support of Yello Media’s sales team. Twenty individuals from this group, including managers and supervisors, has been attached to their operations to help streamline their system and process.
Through their partnership with Yello Media, Visual Vibes will also gain access to the former’s large
MSME network, which shall offer them the opportunity to extend their reach and influence on larger
platforms.
Marc Robinson, the general manager at Visual Vibe, has expressed his excitement and eagerness over the partnership, while also highlighting how this agreement will pave the way for SMEs to expand.
“We are excited to partner with Yello to offer SMEs the opportunity to captivate a larger audience through strategically positioned outdoor advertising placements,” he stated.
In addition to Outdoor Advertisements, the partnership between Yello Media and Visual Vibes has also
opened the door to forays into the digital advertising space and indoor advertising.

Robinson would note that plans were already being put in place for such a jump, claiming that the association with Yello media would “soon, through an expanding portfolio…include indoor digital advertising solutions.”
Tyrone Wilson asserted that in the current media space, the standard outside static billboards is in some ways becoming obsolete, as over the past 10 years the shift from this traditional form of advertising to that of digital advertising.
He would note that this change has shifted market growth, as digital advertising has proven to be far more flexible and versatile. The value of this modern style of advertising, US$13.4 billion in 2022, is expected to reach US$37.51 billion by 2032.
As the partnership between Visual Vibes and Yellow Media is only a month old, no major joint projects
have yet commenced, with both sides taking the time to learn each other’s history and methods.
However, operations are expected to begin in earnest in the very near future, and interested parties are encouraged to reach out, either to Yello via email at [email protected] or by phone at (876)
936-3940 to learn more about the “Game-Changer SME Digital Outdoor Advertising Solution.”
