VM Building Society says several of its branches in western Jamaica will resume normal operating hours from Monday, January 5, 2026, as recovery efforts continue in communities affected by recent disruptions.

In an update to members, the institution said its Falmouth branch in Trelawny, along with the Market Street and Fairview branches in Montego Bay, will return to regular business hours of 8:45 am to 3 pm.

However, VM advised that two branches will continue to operate on adjusted hours of 10 am to 2 pm until further notice. These are the Santa Cruz branch in St Elizabeth and the Savanna-la-Mar branch in Westmoreland.

The building society said the temporary adjustments reflect ongoing recovery conditions in the affected communities, while ensuring the safety of both staff and members.

VM also cautioned that customers may experience delays and extended wait times during this period.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to supporting members as operations gradually return to normal across the island.
