Just over two weeks after his release from prison, dancehall legend Vybz Kartel is scheduled to have his first concert on December 31.

The Fever artiste had been hinting at a possible concert ever since his release and the fans have been waiting for this moment.

Now that Vybz Kartel has signed a contract with the CEO of DownSound Entertainment Joe Bogdanovich, who he declared was the only person who could afford him, the wheels have been set in motion for the production of what folks anticipate to be the biggest concert ever hosted in Jamaica’s history.

The announcement was made by Cordel “Skatta” Burrell through an Instagram post, showing the artiste signing a contract with Bogdanovich present. Vybz Kartel subsequently reshared the post with the caption:

“December 31st GAZA NATION YOU READY?”

Fans of the beloved artist have already started making plans for the event. Some are expecting ticket prices to be high, but are determined to attend the DJ’s first concert no matter what.
