Noted attorney-at-law Walter Scott (KC) has switched his allegiance from McKayla Financial Services to Dolla Financial Services.

McKayla Financial, which is the micro financing arm of the Supreme Ventures Group, announced the resignation of Scott as a director and chairman. The resignation took effect on November 30.

The micro financier has thanked Scott for his invaluable contribution to the board and wished him all the best in his future endeavors. In the meantime, the seasoned attorney has joined the board of Dolla Financial Services.

However, the appointment is pending the approval of the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) in accordance with the Microcredit Act of Jamaica. Dolla has also appointed financial consultant Alison Lynn.

Like Scott, her appointment is subject to the approval of the BOJ in accordance with the Microcredit Act of Jamaica.
