Grammy award-winning rapper and now number one Drake hater, Kendrick Lamar, released a music video for his popular diss track Not Like Us on Thursday (July 4).

In the video, Lamar displays several scenes referencing them all as core tenets of black American and Los Angeles culture, as well as its history of resisting oppression—part of what he infers rap compatriot Drake is not.

He is also seen destroying a papier-mâché figure of what appears to be an owl. The known symbol for Drake’s record label and clothing line is Ontario’s Very Own (OVO).

The artiste also ends the video with him caging an owl, again symbolising him as the victor of the clash.

The track came about as one of the final songs in the Kendrick-Drake rap beef earlier this year, which left many believing that Pulitzer Prize winner Lamar eventually outclassed and defeated Drake and brought back the energy of competition in 90s and early 2000s rap.

The video comes off as Lamar once again rubbing salt in the wound, cementing his distaste for the Canadian-American rapper.
