Soca musical group Kes The Band (KTB) has released the music video for their latest track, a strong contender for the Carnival Road March, 10 days before Carnival 2024 in Trinidad.

The song, Miracle, produced by Tano, seeks to capture the essence and the energy of the Carnival Road March, and the video shows an elderly man reminiscing on a beautiful time he had in his youth during the carnival season.

Lead singer of the group Kees Dieffenthaller, in a message on his social media, said: “This video is an adaptation of a true story- the first time I ever crossed a Carnival Stage.”

The Carnival Road March is the musical composition played most often at the “judging points” along the parade route during Carnival in Trinidad.

KTB has been together since 2005, and despite their success, have just one road march title to their name so far, Stage Gone Bad, in 2020.
