Jacinda Ardern, who demitted office as prime minister of New Zealand in January, today (April 5) made her final speech in Parliament before bowing out of politics.

Ardern, at 42, in stepped away from her role as prime minister, had cited a desire to spend more time with her partner and daughter and an inability to commit to another four years.
