Netflix yesterday (October 25) released the trailer for its upcoming documentary, FIFA Uncovered, which is a tell-all film about the fraud allegations surrounding FIFA, the world governing body for football.

Many will remember the scandal where several of the top football officials, including then president Sepp Blatter and then Trinidadian minister of national security and FIFA executive Jack Warner, were indicted.

The Netflix description of the video reads: “From power struggles to global politics, an exploration of FIFA reveals the organization’s chequered history — and what it takes to host a World Cup.”

The documentary is set for release on November 9, less than two weeks before kick off for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
