The Ministry of Labour and Social Security is making a concerted effort to foster greater inclusivity for persons with disabilities in Jamaica.

Minister Pearnel Charles Jr, speaking at a post-Cabinet briefing noted that there is still discrimination against those with disabilities.

He announced that his ministry will be launching the first of its kind accessibility checklist in conjunction with the Bureau of Standards that should provide assistance.
