In response to his post, several fans commented that they needed the actor back in the United States to shoot more episodes of Power. However, many also admitted grudgingly that it might just be too late to convince the actor to return home.

“Driving?? In Jamaica?? Definitely nah come back,” commented Canadian-born supermodel Winnie Harlow, who is also of Jamaican descent.

“Once you drive barefoot wid a patty inna yuh hand kiss yuh homeland goodbye. Real Jamaican yah now me boss,” a fan commented.

The Power star, known for his role as Tariq St. Patrick in the hit television series, is among many celebrities who have fallen in love with the rich culture, crystal clear beaches, and delicious cuisine for which Jamaica has become renowned.

Among those who have recently visited the island are American rapper Gucci Mane, his wife Keyshia Ka’Oir, and their children.
