Minister of Finance and the Public Service Dr Nigel Clarke has proclaimed an economic recovery that has put Jamaica on a path to progress.
Speaking in Minister of Agriculture Pearnel Charles Jr’s South East Clarendon constituency, Clarke said the capital expenditure budget has grown and, at J$85 billion this year, will improve the quality of life for many Jamaicans.

He added further that the JLP Government listens to the people.
Clarke said the country’s debt is lower today than prior to COVID, that unemployment is also lower than it was prior to COVID, and that the economy is almost at pre-COVID levels.
