West Indies wrapped up the T20I series after beating Bangladesh in the second game by 14 runs at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium today.

The West Indies, which also won the first T20I, have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in their best-of-three series with the third match set for Friday, October 31.

The West Indies rebounded from a 1-2 series loss to Bangladesh in the 50 Over version of the game to claim their second T20I series win this calendar year, having beaten Ireland earlier in 2025.

It was also the West Indies’ third consecutive T20I series win over Bangladesh, and they are now eyeing a clean sweep on Friday.

The West Indies rattled up 1549-9 from their 20 overs and was once again led by Shai Hope, who hit 55 from 36 balls, following up on his 46 in the first game. Alick Athanaze made 52 from 33 balls, and Roston Chase chipped in with 17 not out from 15 balls.

Mustafizer Rahman took 3-21 from four overs, and Rishad Hossain got 2-20 from three overs. Nasum Ahmen captured 2-35 from his four overs.

When Bangladesh batted, they fell just short, reaching 135-8 from 20 overs with Tanzid Hasan hitting a top score of 61 from 48 balls. Eh was supported by Litton Das with 23 from 17 balls and Jaker Ali with 17 from 18 balls.

Akeal Hosein captured 3-22 from his four overs, Romario Shepherd took 3-29, and Jason Holder got 2-20.
