What’s happening between Shenseea and long time manager Romeich Major is a question that’s been on everyone’s mind since the Sidechick singer shared news of her new manager early Monday (July 12) night.

In an Instagram post, the dancehall singer introduced her ShenYengz to her new manager, a Lebanese-Canadian industry executive named Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby.

Sal is the co-founder of the XO Record label and the CEO and founder of the Salxco Management Firm – the home of top artistes Doja Cat, Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana.

No doubt an excellent career move for the soon to be international star, since neither Romeich nor Shenseea appear to be doing it, it’s time we address the elephant in the room.

With all this talk of new management, where is Romeich?

In the absence of official statements from both parties, whose social media pages no longer reflect photos of one another, the dancehall fan arena has gone wild with speculations.

Leading the ‘what happened’ assumptions are perspectives that: A) There is no bad blood between Shenseea and Romeich and the new manager is merely a business move or B) Shenseea’s announcement followed by a lack of response by Romeich is as the kids say another clout tactic to drive further attention to the Hard Drive singer.

As more polarising views continue to surface about what really happened between the pair, making Romeich the number two trending topic on Jamaican Twitter today (July 13) it is clear that any one of the two perspectives could indeed prove true.

According to Twitter user @jahnuarry, “I highly doubt Shenseea and Romeich inna problem. It’s just business.”

Also sharing a similar view @darynelweekly wrote, “Unnu really feel like seh Romeich wuda let go the chance of being on Shenseea’s team over the fact that him not leading the team. Him just possibly taking a more background role. He’s still there.”

Despite these sentiments, there were other users who saw the announcement for what it may very well have been a ‘clout tactic’.

Following an Instagram post made by the Romeich Entertainment CEO on Tuesday (July 13) morning, which stated “Some people will only “love you” as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop,” the speculation fire raged on.

Speaking on the matter @chantipantzi wrote, “Lol can’t believe uno a fall fi Romeich antics,” and @_Vxlentino_ stated, “So unnuh believe Romeich? I don’t, pretty sure is all jokes.”

While Our Today can neither confirm nor deny the status of Romeich and Shenseea’s current relationship, we hope for the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
