WhatsApp launches Mac version for desktop app

WhatsApp has launched a dedicated app for Mac users, following the successful release of its Windows desktop application earlier this year.
One of the standout features of the new WhatsApp app for Mac is the ability to make group calls, a functionality that was previously limited on the desktop platform. Users can now connect with up to eight people on video calls and up to 32 people on audio calls, providing an excellent platform for virtual gatherings, remote meetings, and catching up with loved ones.
A particularly noteworthy addition is the option to join ongoing group calls, a feature that wasn’t available in previous iterations. This will ensure that no one misses out on important discussions or memorable moments.
Moreover, the new app introduces a call history feature, allowing users to revisit past conversations and calls effortlessly. This feature comes in handy for both personal and professional communication, providing a comprehensive record of interactions.
WhatsApp has also made strides in ensuring that the app seamlessly integrates into the Mac environment.
