Hollywood hot-shot Will Smith can’t seem to catch a break these days.

There was that Chris Rock slap, which reverberated across the world. Then, there was his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith telling the world that they had been leading separate lives for years.

Now, a friend and former associate by the charming name Bilal claims he walked in on actor Duane Martin engaging in sex with Will Smith.

Poor Will, it’s one problem after another and at this rate, will we ever see the next chapter of Bad Boys.

Can he resuscitate his career and be guaranteed Box Office again?

Well, for sure he has the talent but can audiences suspend their perceptions and put aside all the terrible press he has been getting recently.

This guy Bilal is no friend at all. Talk about kicking a guy when he is down. Talking to Tasha K, he claims he saw Will Smith bent over.

But why now? Why come out with this revelation after decades?

It is a bomb dropped to create maximum impact and hurt Will Smith.

Smith has a nice guy image and many black women deem him “ too nice”.

The word is Jada wanted Tupac and Will was the fallback guy.

A certain type of black guy gets this all the time.

It will be interesting to see how Will Smith’s career pans out from here. It will take determination, fortitude and fantastic performances to prove the naysayers wrong.

Can he do it?

Yes, he can.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

After close to four decades in the entertainment business, he still has decades left in him. Burt Lancaster, Sidney Poitier, Jack Nicholson put in great performances as technically old men.

Will Smith can attain legendary status if he can get over this hump.

He has denied Bilal’s claim with a spokesperson saying, “ The story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false.” Further…. a source close to the situation tells us Will is considering taking legal action following Bilal’s remarks.

There has been speculation about Will Smith’s sexuality for sometime but this announcement has got Black Hollywood all in a tizzy at a time when there is speculation around Gabrielle Union’s union, has Rocky gone ASAP, and now this!

Duane Martin’s ex-wife Tisha Campbell might be onto something when she says: “ One theory is that it’s really a slave mentality. Whenever the Black community has leaders, potential leaders or a family unit, we emasculate them. You don’t ever see them do that to Ben Affleck or Matt Damon. They can be friends and be powerful individually or collectively and do amazing things.”
