Xbox on Monday (July 22) released an additional ‘cheeky’ game controller in the leadup to the release of the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine.

In a statement that takes inspiration from Deadpool’s iconic fourth wall breaks, Xbox says “Following the release of the Deadpool-designed custom Xbox Wireless Controller, fans around the globe clamoured for Logan’s very own Adamantium-tough tush (on a controller, of course). And because we can’t resist a little friendly competition (certainly not due to fear of his temper), our team went straight into production on this custom Wolverine-inspired Xbox Wireless Controller.”

Deadpool also decided to advertise his bromance with Wolverine in the most Deadpool way possible – by erecting a billboard in Alberta, Canada, the location, where Wolverine first popped his claws.

“It’s the superhero equivalent of a friendship bracelet, just way more… public makes the gesture the superhero equivalent of a friendship bracelet, just way more public,” Xbox said.

The new accessory allows fans to pick sides in the rivalry.
