Workers of Iberostar Hotel in Rose Hall, Montego Bay on strike
A strike action is currently underway at the Iberostar Hotel in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, this morning, November 15.
Our Today understands that workers are demanding better wages.
Workers from all categories have gathered at the hotel entrance, bearing placards and chanting, “We want more money.”
Several workers across the hotel sector have been staging strikes to express their discontent with working conditions and compensation.
The most recent strike occurred earlier this week at Secrets Hotel in Montego Bay, with workers protesting against low wages and working conditions. A similar action was triggered at Breathless Montego Bay Resort and Spa and Oyster Bay in Trelawny.
