Popular Jamaican podcaster Jaii Frass is seemingly hinting that the Bob Marley: One Love biopic is ‘criminally bad’.
In an Instagram video, Frais shared his disappointment with the movie and its execution, likening it to a recently viral blunder with his Shenseea interview.
The biopic, which stars Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch, opened to the general public on Valentine’s Day (February 14).
Frais said, “Ziggy Marley must answer to these charges.”
“Mi nuh know weh you and Bob have…[what issue] you and yuh bredda dem have,” he added.
“Wah kinda movie this bredda?” Frais said, while highlighting that he was outside the theatre after seeing the movie. Bob Marley’s ‘Is This Love’ played in the background, an ironic soundtrack to the dissatisfied rant. “Ziggy why yuh do this?”

The comment section was ablaze with mostly persons in agreement with Frais’ point of view. Here are a few comments from the post:
“Doh worry u self Jaii, Ziggy name uppa station. Him affy go dung!!!”
“I expected more, BUT, Ziggy and whoever wrote that movie sent a message that a lot of us missed– Why the Marley’s nuh like Jamaica (Jamaica never like them) BTW the actor of Bod id a great job.”
“Yuh pay yuuh money go watch a chap yuh get chap don’t call back eh man phone.”
Others stated that they were reserving their judgment till they see the film for themselves.
So far, the money has a 94 per cent audience rating on Rottentomatoes.com and a surprising 43 per cent critic score.
