

Worthy Park Estate, one of Jamaica’s oldest and the only remaining single-estate rum producer, is turning heads on the global stage once again.
With a series of prestigious international awards in 2025, the brand is cementing its place as one of the world’s must-try rum producers, where heritage and history meet bold, unforgettable flavour.
Most recently, the Estate’s Worthy Park 109 Rum received a Gold Outstanding Medal, reserved for rum scoring between 98-100, at the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC). Among the 200 rums tasted this placed it among the top six rums globally. The expert IWSC panel of judges praised the pot-still rum’s “earthy notes and dark dried fruit, complemented by caramel and chocolate… with a smooth creaminess and a long, pleasant finish accented by pepper.”
Adding to this achievement, Worthy Park Estate has also received recognition at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), with multiple rums earning spots among Forbes’ selections for the World’s Best Rums. Worthy Park Select and Worthy Park 109 are both finalists for Best of Class Aged Rum and Worthy Park Overproof received commendation for Best of Class Overproof Rum. These accolades further highlight the Estate’s dedication to crafting premium, aged expressions and the traditional Jamaican rum-making heritage that sets them apart and makes them ideal for both collectors and curious newcomers looking to level up their rum game!
In a further nod to its growing global influence, Worthy Park Estate has been named a Top 4 Finalist in the Best New Spirit or Cocktail Ingredient category at this year’s Spirited Awards hosted by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. This is one of the industry’s most respected honours celebrating excellence in spirits, bars, and global drinks culture. Voted on by top bartenders and industry leaders from across the globe, this recognition highlights Worthy Park as a rising force in the global bar scene and a go-to choice for bartenders wanting to push boundaries with quality, character and Jamaican soul. This marks the second year in a row as Worthy Park 109 received a Top 4 nomination last year.
