Zarabelle to launch Camp Reel, a summer camp for kids to learn tv and film

Zarabelle, is excited to announce Camp Reel, a summer camp designed to introduce kids in Jamaica between the ages of 5 and 11 to the world of television and film.

The camp, which aims to inspire and encourage the next generation of TV and film superstars, will take place from July 17 – July 28, at 10A West Kingston House Road, adjacent to the Canadian embassy side gate.

Led by the CEO of Zarabelle, Shawneil Bailey-Gordon, Camp Reel promises an unforgettable experience for young participants. With a curriculum that includes acting, scriptwriting, directing, field trips to various production studios in Kingston and more, the camp will offer engaging sessions filled with hands-on learning and creative exploration.

While the official lineup of guest speakers and industry professionals is yet to be confirmed, STEAMHouse Network will be creating the curriculum, post production and Studio will be provided by The Production Lab and production equipment will be provided by Fareye Films Productions. The camp organizers have expressed their commitment to bringing in inspiring individuals who can share their valuable insights and guide the young participants towards success.

The camp will also have on-call doctors and medics provided by TSL Health and Wellness and CPR trained nannies provided by Yours Truly Clinihealth

Camp Reel is endorsed by Jamaica Film & Television Association (JAFTA)

Camp sessions will be held from 9 am to 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, providing a comprehensive learning experience for the young participants.

Registration for Camp Reel opens on June 5, but interested individuals can currently join the waitlist at www.campreel.club.
