Zimi Seh Riva can be summed up with three facts: great music, great food, and great vibes.
The Zimi Entertainment event occurred on Saturday, July 13, at the picturesque Tru Juice River in Bog Walk, St Catherine.
Party-goers in their Riva-best brought a fantastic energy to the event, adding to the vibes the Zimi brand is renowned for.
Drawing upon the success of its recent event in Toronto, Zimi Entertainment has once again proven its aptitude for blending entertainment with relaxation, offering patrons an escape from the challenges of Hurricane Beryl and regular stress.

Originally scheduled for July 7, organisers decided to postpone, ensuring optimal safety and hygiene in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
From 12 am to 7 pm, attendees from all over the island gathered at True Juice River for an unforgettable party experience, enjoying their free spiked snowcones, the river, and the music provided by some of Jamaica’s top DJs.
The extensive parking spaces before entering the security gates gave insight into just how ram-packed the space was going to be.
Party-goers came with their coolers or alcoholic beverages in hand at the food-inclusive event, ready to have the time of their lives!

Zimi Seh Riva‘s unique appeal lies in its beautiful riverside setting, and its commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone was apparent through its widespread security, ambulance and first aid bay, and to palliate the heat hand fans provided—because boy, was it hot!
But not even the heat would stop a great time, as the crowd was active to the very end. Folks would rather sweat and fete than complain about the summer weather they could not control.
“Zimi is a must; by the hook or the crook, mi did affi reach!” said one patron, reflecting the sentiments of many attendees.
The event provided a great opportunity for families, groups of friends, and music lovers to come together and make unforgettable memories, especially after Beryl tried to dampen the island’s spirits just ten days prior—it was a celebration of triumph for ‘Zimi Seh Riva’ patrons.
“Yeah, wi come out fi enjoy the likkle settings and ting, you know?” One patron said, “Mi still nuh have no light afta the hurricane enuh (You know), so this? This is what I needed pon this Saturday ya… fi come out and enjoy mi self.”

As the party ended at Tru Juice River, the high energy only multiplied, and patrons were still rolling up after the closing time at 7 pm, capturing the true feel of Jamaican culture and party vibes—the party is never over until it’s over.
With plans already underway for future events, Zimi Entertainment continues to cement its reputation as a premier organizer of top-tier experiences.
Speaking with Our Today patron and promotor of Nirvana Saturdays, Ajaune Hinds said, “Zimi is a good event; they are doing very well… Once anybody hears ‘Zimi’ then you know it’s a must-reach event.”
“Zimi is always good, but I prefer the one at Christmas because the summertime is too hot, man!”
The message is clear for those who missed out on Saturday’s festivities: stay tuned for more from Zimi Entertainment. Anything, Zimi Seh, goes.
