3. An affection for feline companions
From the earliest chapters of her memory, Rachel Kirlew has shared a profound bond with adorable feline friends. While her affection extends to all creatures, cats hold a special place in her heart as cherished companions. Rachel firmly believes in the happiness and stress-reducing qualities that cats bring. Her current feline companion, Papa, exemplifies this bond, providing not only joy but also solace and companionship.

Rachel asserted, “As far back as my memory goes, I have adored having an adorable furball as a friend. There’s enough love in my heart for other animals as well—dogs, birds, hamsters, etc. However, cats will always hold the top spot when it comes to pets. I firmly believe that cats have a unique ability to bring happiness, and scientific evidence supports this notion. At present, I have one cat named Papa. Not only does Papa bring me joy, but he also helps reduce my stress levels, assists in processing grief, and serves as a wonderful companion in general.”
4. The reader’s evolution In her formative years

Rachel Kirlew held the belief that language and mathematics engaged distinct mental faculties. This perspective led her to undervalue the profound impact of reading and the wealth of knowledge it imparts. Over time, Rachel’s outlook transformed as she embraced the adage, ‘Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers. This realisation propelled her to surmount her initial reservations, resulting in her becoming an ardent and enthusiastic reader.
“I used to firmly believe that language and math required distinct brain systems. Due to this perspective, I didn’t appreciate reading or the wealth of knowledge it offered. However, I soon realised that not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers. Making a conscious effort to embrace this notion, I overcame my inadequacy. Now, I consider myself an avid reader,” the AVP stated.
5. Aspires to be a wine connoisseur
Rachel Kirlew’s early encounters with wine were characterised by limited exposure and a developing palate. Nevertheless, she found herself captivated by the intricate interplay of flavours, particularly in conjunction with her culinary experiences. The world of wine, with its diverse terminology, varietals, and histories, intrigued her deeply. While Rachel does not claim expertise, she nurtures a steadfast aspiration to cultivate a profound appreciation and understanding of the world of wine.

Racel shared, “My limited wine experiences when I was a younger adult never elicited the typical responses of ‘It’s not sweet enough,’ ‘It’s too bitter,’ or ‘It’s too heavy.’ At the age of 21, I didn’t possess much knowledge about wines, but they intrigued me. Not only are they exceedingly smooth, but their sensations become truly fantastic when paired with food. Within the expansive and captivating realm of wine, one encounters countless terms, wine types, fruits, and other nuances to grasp. While I may not currently deem myself a wine expert, I hold onto the aspiration of becoming one someday.”
