The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is today (July 1) announcing the 23-man squad, Reggae Boyz contingent representing the island in the upcoming 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Among the notable names are skipper Damion Lowe, Bayer Leverkusen striker Leon Bailey, Bristol City’s Adrian Mariappa, and seasoned custodian Andre Blake of Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Philadelphia Union.

The Reggae Boyz, who start their campaign on Monday, July 12, contest Group C in the opening stages of the Gold Cup. Suriname, Costa Rica as well as the winner of preliminary match eight—a toss-up among The Bahamas, Guadeloupe, Guatemala and Guyana.
Jamaica last made the Gold Cup finals in 2017, losing 2-1 to the United States. The Reggae Boyz advanced as far as the semi-finals in the 2019 edition, before their campaign was ended by the US after a 3-1 defeat.
