A number of listed companies have announced a delay in the submission of their annual reports and audited financial statements and are seeking an extension from the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

They include Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances Limited, Jamaica Broilers Group Limited and Radio Jamaica Limited. In the case of Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances Limited, the company has reported a delay in its annual report and audited financial statements.

The company has advised the JSE that its annual report and audited financial statements will not meet the current extension of July 7, 2021, provided by the JSE, due to delays with their publishers. As such, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances has requested an extension to September 30, 2021, to complete and submit the reports.

Jamaica Broilers Group has advised that submission of its audited financial statements for the year ended May 1, 2021 is delayed. The company anticipates that the audited financial statements will be submitted on or before July 15, 2021.

Radio Jamaica Limited says it is making use of the general extension being allowed by the JSE for companies with financial year ending March 31, 2021 to report their annual audited results by July 14, 2021, representing a 45-day extension.

This extension, RJR’s management says, will assist it and auditors to manage the ongoing challenges on regular business activities posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
