Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has withdrawn from the women’s 100m event at the Wanda Diamond League meet in Paris, officials said on Friday (August 27), citing fatigue.

Fraser-Pryce, who just yesterday ran a new personal best in 10.60 seconds to win the 100m at the Lausanne meet in Switzerland, will not compete this Saturday.

She reportedly told organisers she was “very tired”.

Compatriots Elaine Thompson-Herah and Shericka Jackson, who both landed safely in France, are still in the running, with Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith also set to storm the track.
