Germany-based reggae artistes Shocking Murray and King Kenni are eagerly anticipating their upcoming African tour.
The Jamaican-born entertainers are scheduled to go on a three-week tour of Senegal and The Gambia beginning on February 22, concluding on March 14. The tour will see them performing at events in Banjul, Senegambia, Busumba, Kololi, Sukuta, and Dakar, among other locations.
“I’m very excited about this upcoming tour. It will be my first trip to the Mother Land, and you know as a Rastaman, this means a lot to me. I plan to make the most of this experience and deliver some very exciting performances for my brothers and sisters on the continent,” said Shocking Murray.
For King Kenni, it is all about celebrating with people who love the genre.
“I’ve toured some parts of West Africa before including Senegal, Gambia and Sierra Leone. The people in these countries have a great love for Jamaica and reggae music, so it’s a pleasure to return to Gambia and Senegal and perform for my brothers and sisters over there once more,” he said.

The pair have also just released a new single called Hot Steppa that was produced by Jermaine Clarke for Pure Hits Music Records. It was released on all digital platforms on Sunday, February 20.
