Instant-messaging app Telegram released an update as it enabled a new feature, Telegram Stories, on Monday, August 14, as part of its 10-year anniversary, .
Telegram Stories, a highly requested feature, are showcased in an expandable section at the top of the user’s screen. One of its distinctive features is the dual camera mode, which allows users to capture moments from every angle by simultaneously using both the front and rear cameras of their devices.
This innovative approach grants users the ability to choose which camera feed is displayed, even during the recording process.

Unlike the ‘stories’ feature on other social media platforms, Telegram offers the capability to include longer text descriptions in captions, and the ability to edit every element of a story post; users can adjust visibility, captions, on-screen text, stickers, and more, all without the need to delete and repost content.
The launch of ‘stories’ also comes with a suite of privacy settings, giving users precise control over who sees their content, and includes an option to disable screenshots.
