Canva, the popular graphic design platform, announced the release of ‘Magic Studio,’ a suite of design tools packaged in one platform that brings the power of AI-assisted design to the fingertips of users worldwide

Magic Studio, announced on Wednesday, October 4, consolidates the best of AI features into Canva and addresses the common need to juggle between various AI tools or learn complex software and simplify the creative process for the world without extensive design skills.

Two of the standout features of Magic Studio are Magic Design, a tool that interprets prompts or transforms uploaded media into curated designs within seconds; and Magic Switch, a tool that converts designs into summary docs, blog posts, or translations.

Magic Studio can also create AI-generated media, copy and add animations to designs with Magic Media, Magic Write, and Magic Animate.

Canva has committed to responsible AI use with its safety, privacy, and security controls surrounding generative AI and also committed to investing US$200 million in competitive content and AI royalties over the next three years for its creator community.
