One of the three men charged in the murder and kidnapping of Opposition Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell’s daughter and her mother pleaded guilty to the charges laid against him and will be sentenced on November 15.

The man, whose name is being withheld due to security reasons, pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping in the Home Circuit court on Thursday.

Reports are that a second man charged in connection to the murder and kidnapping will plead guilty in the Supreme Court today.

Leoda Bradshaw, a US Navy petty officer and longtime partner of Paulwell, was among four charged in connection to the murder of Toshyna Patterson and her 10-month-old child Sarayah Paulwell.

Bradshaw was charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder, two counts of conspiracy to kidnapping, two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of murder. Her co-accused are Roland Lloyd Balford, Rushane Miller, and Richard Brown.

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), Patterson and her daughter were shot and killed and their bodies burnt and the remains buried in Warieka Hills under orders from Bradshaw. Bradshaw allegedly made a down payment of J$100,000 to three men, including her cousin Roland Balfour, to murder Sarayah and her mom. Another payment of $J400,000 would be made after the murder.

Patterson and her daughter were reported missing on September 9. They were reportedly last seen entering an SUV that was occupied with Bradshaw.
