The highly anticipated Mouttet Mile set for December was given a tremendous boost when Main Event Entertainment Group joined forces with Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL) to enhance the production quality of the event that will be broadcast in the USA.

Main Event is expected to deliver a “phenomenal experience” that will captivate local, Caribbean and American horse racing lovers after signing on as a sponsor of Jamaica’s premier horse racing event for the third-consecutive year on Friday, November 1, 2024.

Main Event Corporate Affairs Manager Donna Hussey said the company’s renewed partnership with SVREL demonstrates their commitment to sport and entertainment in Jamaica.

“We’re thrilled to make this year’s Mouttet Mile an unforgettable experience for attendees and showcase the best of Caymanas Park,” she shared.

The Mouttet Mile, hosted by SVREL at Caymanas Park, brings together top racehorses and jockeys in the region, and Main Event’s sponsorship will focus on enhancing the production quality by delivering state-of-the-art sound, lighting and visual effects to amplify the event’s excitement.

The ultra-rich Mouttet Mile is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, and the event promises thrilling races, elevated entertainment, and a world-class fan experience.

The popular Grade One race for three-year-olds and upward over a mile (1,600m) will be run on Saturday, December 7 at the Caymanas Park with a historic purse of US$250,000.

A top-class field is being assembled. Guyana-based Olympic Kremlin, bred in Brazil, has joined the likes of overseas-based horses Sheer Delight, Pack Plays, Barnaby, Legacy Isle, Commandant and Real Macho.

An overseas entrant, Rough Entry ridden by Canadian jockey Julien Leparoux, won the 2023 Mouttet Mile.
