PNP councillor Patrick Forrester killed in car crash in Westmoreland, three others injured

Patrick Forrester, People’s National Party (PNP) councillor for the Petersfield Division in Westmoreland.

Patrick Forrester, People’s National Party (PNP) councillor for the Petersfield Division in Westmoreland, died in a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports are that Forrester was travelling with three others along a road in Whithorn, Westmoreland, when the vehicle went out of control, veered off the roadway, and plunged over a precipice.

Forrester died at the scene.

The three other occupants sustained injuries and were taken to hospital, where they were admitted.

The incident is being investigated by the police.
