Jamaica’s Mount Pleasant FC marched into the semi-final of the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup following a 2-0 away win over Central FC from Trinidad and Tobago at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain on Tuesday.

Mount Pleasant—the runner-up in the Jamaican League—got its victory through goals by Raheem Edwards (51st) and Chevaughn Walsh (90th).

Mount Pleasant, with its third consecutive win, lead the five-team group with nine points and secured a top-two spot, hence advancing to the semifinals.

They will be hunting to secure the top spot when they host O&M of the Dominican Republic next Tuesday in Kingston.

This is the fourth consecutive year that at least one Jamaican club will appear in the semi-finals, as Cavalier are the defending Caribbean champions, and they are second in Group B with four points from their three games and still in contention for a semi-final spot.
