Decameron Decameron Club Caribbean Runaway Bay in St Ann will join the Ramada All Inclusive collective as part of a partnership between Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

MGM Muthu Hotels is increasing its room stock in Jamaica.

The Indian-owned, Portugal-headquartered hospitality outfit has acquired the two remaining Decameron All-Inclusive Hotels and Resorts properties in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

In a letter dated January 26, 2026, Decameron shared that “within the next 90 days, our Jamaican properties will enter a new stage as part of a strategic agreement with MGM Muthu Hotels.

“As a result of this agreement, the properties Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach and Grand Decameron Montego Beach will continue their operations under the ownership and management of MGM Muthu Hotels, which will assume full responsibility for both hotels going forward,” the letter continued.

The announcement comes less than a year after MGM Muthu Hotels took ownership of Decameron Club Cameron in Runaway Bay, St Ann. Neither party has disclosed the full nature of the transaction, including the consideration cost of the acquisition.

On MGM Muthu’s website, under the Jamaica tab, a sign reads “More hotels (Opening Soon)”.

However, in the letter, Decameron outlined that both entities are working together to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated transition, with a clear focus on service continuity, operational stability and guest experience.

Our Today has learnt that during the transition period, employment under the Decameron brand will cease, and staff members can exercise their right to reapply for work with MGM Muthu Hotels.

In the meantime, Decameron has informed its guests that its commercial and customer teams are available to help answer any questions they may have during the transition period.
