Bayern Munich have opened discussions with Harry Kane over a possible contract extension, according to sporting director Max Eberl.
The England captain arrived from Tottenham in August 2023 on a four-year deal worth an initial €100 million and has quickly become the focal point of Bayern’s attack.
Now 32, Kane has delivered at an extraordinary rate, racking up 119 goals and 30 assists in 126 appearances. His impact was rewarded last season when Bayern lifted the 2024–25 Bundesliga title, giving Kane the first major trophy of his career.
In October, he hinted that life in Munich suits him, admitting his pull back to the Premier League had eased.
Kane has carried that form into the current campaign, scoring 34 times in 30 matches under Vincent Kompany, including 21 goals in just 19 Bundesliga games. With Robert Lewandowski’s single-season league record of 41 goals in his sights, Kane continues to rewrite expectations.
His goals have also pushed Bayern to second place in their Champions League group with one match still to play.
