This year’s Gala boasts an equally impressive entertainment lineup including MuMu Fresh, a GRAMMY-Nominated, Indigenous Music award-winning Musical Ambassador for the US State Department, Steppaz Band, a popular New York City Reggae Band, Sesame Flyers International, an esteemed performing arts group dedicated to preserving the culture and artistry of the global Caribbean community and Freddy Harris, a renowned Steel-pan player.

The AFUWI Gala is the primary fundraising vehicle for the scholarship program for needy students at UWI. An average of 50 scholarships are awarded to exceptional students each year. Over the past ten years, our Foundation has provided approximately 600 tuition scholarships to students across the Caribbean region and brokered multiple relationships with other tier-one institutions. Unfortunately, in the past two years, the demands from our deserving students for support have doubled due to the global pandemic. AFUWI is committed to answering the call for help and we are inviting our friends and supporters to #donatetoeducate. Tables and tickets can be purchased at www.afuwitickets.org.
