So you want to start your own business but worry about support. Who can hold your hand and guide you through the process?

Amber can!

The tech company, founded and operated by Dushyant Savadia, is launching an astonishing assistance programme which will help 100 new businesses over 1000 days.

This initiative will give your business the kick-start it needs

Many state organisations with good intentions to assist your venture in fact strangle you in bureaucracy and red tape. They insist on onerous requirements that tie you in knots and make you ineligible to receive vital assistance.

Not Amber who cuts through all that and is there to help. It is an angel able to hold your hand and help.

Speaking with Our Today, Amber Group CEO Dushyant Savadia said: “Amber is here to help prospective entrepreneurs who have a concept that can help the public and is viable with dynamic end-to-end management  There will be capped equity up front. We realise all too well it takes time to develop and grow a business and all too often in Jamaica founders get criticised and demoralised. They spend an inordinate amount of time sourcing capital and by the time they access it, it gets whittled away on repaying debt and other things leaving the business vulnerable.

“With the launch of 100 startups in 1000 days, we are coming more from a philanthropic perspective. We will be providing 100 per cent financing, marketing and sales support. There has never been a launchpad like this before in Jamaica. All you have to do is focus on product design and service. We, in turn, provide HR services, software, working space and so forth. We also will be leveraging our 1 million customers in Jamaica, 6 million customers across the Caribbean and our operations across the world.”

Amber will be partnering with UTech on this and it will be providing courses for the budding entrepreneurs and building space to work from.

The launch ceremony of Amber UTech Launchpad will take place on Wednesday (March 6), at the Lecture Theatre 50, Shared Facilities Building, University of Technology (UTech).

Speakers will include Prime Minister Andrew Holness, president and CEO of Sagicor Group Jamaica, Christopher Zacca, Minister, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Senator Aubyn Hill, leading entrepreneur Howard Mitchell and president of UTech, Dr Kevin Brown.

The event will be broadcast live on Amber Group’s YouTube at https://youtube.com/@ambergrouplimited.
