Jamaica’s Donate–Buy–Sell Marketplace Fast-Tracked After Hurricane Melissa, With All Premium Tools Free

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, as families across the island struggle to rebuild homes, lives, and livelihoods, Amber Group has fast-tracked the. launch of Amber Eazzy — an AI-driven marketplace to donate, buy, sell or rent.

Think of it as “Craigslist meets GoFundMe” for Jamaica, built to move help from those who have it to those who urgently need it, right now.

Originally slated for a later rollout, Amber Eazzy was brought forward and delivered in record time as part of Amber Group’s wider disaster-relief efforts, giving Jamaicans a simple way to donate items, sell at fair prices, or share what they no longer use — so nothing sits idle in a storeroom while a neighbour is sleeping on the floor.

With features like saved searches and instant alerts the moment new items matching your criteria go live, families can find essentials faster during this critical recovery period, at a time when thousands urgently need clothing, furniture, mattresses, stoves, fridges, tools, school supplies, baby items, farming equipment and basic household goods.

Amber Eazzy connects people who have extra with people who have lost everything — quickly, safely and without red tape — so anyone can post items or find what they need at affordable prices or completely free, restoring hope and a sense of independence in a time of national hardship.

Hurricane Melissa has also severely impacted hundreds of micro and small businesses, many of which lost equipment and stock and now have no marketing budget. Amber Eazzy provides these entrepreneurs with a zero-cost digital storefront, helping them stay visible, reach customers across the island, move inventory, and restart operations with confidence.

To remove every barrier, Amber Group has waived all paid features for the first three months — including premium listings, featured placements, and early access to advanced tools. Every Jamaican, whether an individual or a small business, can use the full power of the marketplace at no cost during this crucial phase.

“Our country needed a solution now — not next month. So we built it at speed,” said Dushyant Savadia, Founder & CEO, Amber Group. “Amber Eazzy is technology with a conscience. No Jamaican should have an empty house while a neighbour has spare furniture in storage. No small business should be invisible because they can’t afford advertising. This platform puts those pieces together so we can rebuild, one item and one family at a time.”

Within the week, Amber Eazzy will also launch its new Services category — helping Jamaicans quickly find skilled workers for any job, and giving anyone looking for work a platform to offer their services islandwide.

Later this month, the Amber Eazzy mobile app will launch on iOS and Android, offering a faster, more personalised experience — making it easy to browse, post, message sellers, track favourites and discover deals on the go.

Also launching this month, the Amber Eazzy conversational AI Assistant will let users search in plain language (for example, “I need a fridge under $20,000” or “Show me free baby clothes near St. Elizabeth”), navigate hands-free and get guided straight to relevant listings — even with limited digital skills.

Jamaicans can start posting and searching now at: AmberEazzy.ai
