Another set of Jamaican listed companies announces interim dividend payments

Three other listed companies contemplating whether to declare dividend payment

Another group of listed companies has announced dividend payment, having made profits during their recently ended quarter.

They are Proven Investments and Kingston Wharves Ltd (KW, while the Board of Directors of Lasco Manufacturing and Lasco Distributors as well as Wisynco, will meet to consider the payment of an interim dividend. Proven has advised that a dividend payment of US$0.0014 per share was declared at its Board of Directors meeting, which was held on June 16, 2021.

Ordinary shareholders, who have requested payment in Jamaican dollars, will receive the equivalent of JA$0.208711 per share. This dividend payment will be made to all ordinary shareholders on record on July 1, 2021 and will be paid on July 9, 2021.

The ex-dividend date is June 30, 2021.

In the meantime, KWL has advised that at a meeting of its Board of Directors on Thursday, June 17, 2021, the Board considered and approved the payment of a final dividend of J$0.23 per ordinary share to shareholders on record as at Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

The payment date for the dividend is Wednesday, August 18, 2021. The ex-dividend date is Tuesday July 20, 2021.

Wisynco has advised that its Board of Directors will meet on Monday, June 28, 2021, to consider a dividend payment to shareholders. Lasco Distributors Limited is reporting that a meeting of its Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on June 24, 2021, to consider, and if thought fit, recommend the payment of an interim dividend.

Lasco Manufacturing Limited has advised that a meeting of their Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on June 24, 2021, to consider, and if thought fit, recommend the payment of an interim dividend.
