Bailey Wealth Group looks to increase access to private market opportunities

In response to the growing demand from qualified investors to gain access to private markets, Bailey Wealth Group (BWG) has announced its increased focus on alternative investments designed to give its clients further exposure to real assets like real estate. 

During the recent invitation-only event, Keisha Bailey, CEO of BWG and licensed investment advisor, outlined, “The private markets provide a wealth of opportunity for investors to efficiently gain exposure to the lucrative private market asset classes that offers diversification outside of more traditional asset classes like stocks and bonds, while providing alternative financing to support business growth.” Adding, “globally we have seen an uptick in alternative investments like private markets, by fund managers, other institutional investors and ultra wealthy individuals through trusts and endowments, as the macroeconomic environment has shifted and they go in search of high-yielding assets. As such, BWG’s clients will be able to directly access these types of investment opportunities that would otherwise be available to an exclusive cadre of seasoned investors.” 

This new offering will see Bailey Wealth Group collaborating with financial institutions and other institutional stakeholders to create niche opportunities for its clients in accessing private market deals. Bailey shared, “It has been designed to replicate the features and benefits of the typical close-ended fund, for a limited number of shareholders, providing a clear exit strategy over the medium-term.”

 This first private market opportunity will focus on direct investment in real estate, complemented by REIT exposure, combining the return potential of private real estate with the liquidity and diversification of publicly traded REITs.
