The Bahamaian Ministry of Tourism and Aviation took home top honours for the destination’s incentive travel experiences and strong support for meeting planners at the 2025 Prevue Visionary Awards.
Presented annually by Prevue Meetings + Incentives magazine, these awards celebrate the forward-thinking destinations, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and airlines shaping the future of the meetings and incentives industry.
Reinforcing the Bahamas’ position as one of the world’s most sought-after destinations for groups, incentives, and corporate gatherings, the island nation earned top distinctions in the following categories:
- Best CVB/DMO Meeting & Incentive Planner Support by Region – International (Bronze)
- Best International (or US Territory) Destination for Incentives (Gold)
Commenting on the accolade, Tourism Minister Chester Cooper said: “Being recognised in both incentive travel and planner support categories is a powerful affirmation of our commitment to delivering world-class service to meeting and incentive professionals. Our islands continue to inspire and provide extraordinary opportunities for groups, and this honour reflects the hard work of our teams’ efforts to elevate The Bahamas as a destination of premier offerings.”
Selected through votes cast by Prevue’s esteemed advisory board and planner audience, the Visionary Awards highlight global leaders and innovators providing unmatched value and support for meeting and incentive planners.
“These awards highlight the trust planners place in The Bahamas and the care we put into creating experiences that are both seamless and authentically Bahamian,” said Latia Duncombe, director-general of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation. “Our 16-island destination offers an exceptional setting for incentive programmes, and we remain committed to delivering the level of quality and attention that keeps groups returning to our shores.”
The full list of the 2025 Prevue Visionary Award winners will be announced in the November/December issue of Prevue magazine and is available online.
